About this event
Topic: It’s Getting Dark Early: Sundowning and Dementia
As daylight hours shorten, some individuals living with dementia may experience increased confusion, anxiety, or agitation in the late afternoon and evening. Join us at our Bowling Green location on November 12th at 1:00 PM as we discuss sundowning, why it occurs, and strategies that may help caregivers manage these challenges.
Many caregivers benefit from participating in programs that offer education and support. At MemoryLane Care Services, we believe an important part of caregiver education is feeling part of a larger community. Engaging with a community of caregivers provides space to share stories, exchange practical tips, and offer encouragement.
Grab a coffee or tea and join us each Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Wood County Committee on Aging, 140 S. Grove Street, Bowling Green, OH.
Meet a MemoryLane Care Services’ staff member in the lobby to be directed to the meeting room location.
Listed by CitySpark: Bowling Green, OH, gathered by the Findlay events calendar.
