- ➤ Larry Grove, a longtime volunteer with Gliding Stars and educator, died peacefully on Dec. 31, 2025. A memorial service is scheduled for Mar. 28 at 2:00 p.m. (Trinity Lutheran Church, 935 W. Bigelow Ave, Findlay) with donations requested to support local youth programs. WFIN
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Earlier, the Mazza Museum celebrated America’s 250th anniversary during Funday Sunday with interactive art, STEM labs, and author readings while unveiling a special exhibit (Drawn Together). The museum will host the next Funday Sunday on Feb. 8 with animal activities from the Toledo Zoo. Hometown Stations

- ➤ Jim Rucki of Findlay High School is honored by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association after being named the 2026 Paul Walker Award recipient (recognizing his 35-season coaching career and many championships), and he will be inducted into the association's Hall of Fame in April.
