GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City urges property owners to clear sidewalks after a recent storm dropped several inches of snow. Under ordinance (906.02), residents must clear snow within 12 hours or within two hours after notification to avoid a minor misdemeanor.  WFIN

HEALTH NEWS

  • Ohio Department of Medicaid will host an informational session on the Next Generation MyCare Program on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Area Agency on Aging 3 in Lima from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help dual eligible residents understand streamlined benefits set to begin May 1.  Hometown Stations
  • The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to help ease a severe winter blood shortage with drives planned from today through early February in nearby counties (including Allen and Auglaize). Donations have dropped 35% due to harsh weather, and donors can schedule appointments via the Blood Donor App or website.  Hometown Stations
