- ➤ The Veterans Empowerment Winter Fair gives local veterans and families a chance to learn about resources (wellness, finances, home care). The free event takes place Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Owens Community College inside the Community Education and Wellness Center. WFIN
- ➤ Christian Clearing House is preparing a benefit garage sale at Brinkmans Greenhouse with a pre-sale on March 12 and public sale on March 14 and 15. Donations run from Feb. 23 to Mar. 6 (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), so mark your calendars and support this local cause. WFIN

- ➤ At the DeKalb Choir Festival, Findlay First Edition earned Grand Champion and awards for Best Crew, Best Instrumentals, Best Vocals, Best Visuals and People’s Choice (Findlay City Schools) showcasing Trojan Country style and skill. WFIN
- ➤ The Findlay Rotary Club will present its 35th Golden Apple Awards on Feb. 25 to honor educators from the community. A review committee picked semi-finalists from elementary, middle, and high school divisions based on community nominations. WFIN
