- ➤ The Community Gardens of Hancock County is accepting applications for the 2026 Gardening Season at 1800 N. Blanchard St. Findlay. Assistance with applications is available at the Family Center on Friday, March 13 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. WFIN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Cory-Rawson Local Schools will hold a full-day safety training for district staff on Friday, March 20 at the campus — a drill coordinated with Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District. Students will not attend, and residents may see emergency vehicles but there is no public threat. WFIN
- ➤ University of Findlay invites alumni, friends, and students to join its annual Day of Giving on Thursday, March 19. The event begins at noon at the bell tower and will feature a Facebook Live broadcast with mascot Derrick the Oiler and the marching band. University of Findlay
