- ➤ University of Findlay will celebrate its annual Day of Giving on Thursday, Mar. 19—starting at noon with a bell tower ceremony and a Facebook Live broadcast featuring the mascot and band, while alumni and locals are invited to contribute online to support new facilities and experiential learning. - ➤ Criminal justice students from Penta Career Center recently took part in a simulated 9-1-1 training hosted by WCSO Communications Deputy Combs; they practiced recording caller details into the CAD system (a key step in preparing for emergency dispatcher roles). WFIN
- ➤ Guest readers from Blanchard Valley Center read to over 300 students at McComb Library, Liberty-Benton, Jefferson, and Whittier schools, with tomorrow’s reading set at McComb for first graders.
