- ➤ MCPA’s Boogie on The Block returns to Findlay on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Roman-Jebitt Festival Grounds — MCPA Parking Lot. The event will feature live music, food, and drinks with general admission priced at $7 and youth tickets at $3. WFIN
- ➤ Chris Leuthold, a retired teacher, created a math scholarship for a senior at Cory-Rawson Local Schools using a formula based on GPA + ACT scores; the scholarship has awarded 16 prizes totaling $25,800 so far. WFIN

- ➤ Bluffton University pulled out of a merger with the University of Findlay and is now assessing its next steps for current and future students. - ➤ The Ohio Department of Agriculture and Conservation Action Project started a five-year study in 2023 to test phosphorus fertilizer on nine plots in the Maumee River watershed—three test ranges compare standard and no fertilizer use—to see how changes in soil and plant health affect algae blooms in Lake Erie.
