- ➤ The Black Swamp Area Council honored 76 new Eagle Scouts at a recognition banquet Saturday evening at the UNOH Event Center in Lima. The ceremony celebrated the Class of 2025 with awards and remarks from local leaders (including Mayor Mike McCann) and featured a keynote talk by Taylor Dietsch. WFIN
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ International Night at the University of Findlay will take place on Thursday, March 26 at the Alumni Memorial Union starting at 6 p.m., featuring food & performances that celebrate diverse cultures from Japan, Vietnam, Ghana & more. University of Findlay
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Ohio Fire Academy held its EMT class 0023 graduation on March 20 at its Reynoldsburg campus. The 26 graduates (including Findlay native Evan Barth) completed a seven-week training program and are ready to serve as first responders in local communities. Hometown Stations
- ➤ University of Findlay introduced a new 3+3 degree pathway with Akron Law that lets students earn both a bachelor’s degree and J.D. credits. They will pay Findlay tuition for three years — then switch to Akron Law rates, with advising from both schools. University of Findlay
- ➤ The University of Findlay is accepting nominations for the 2026 Alumni Awards to honor alumni and community leaders. Nominations are due by April 1 and will be reviewed for awards presentation during Homecoming 2026 (call 419-434-4008 for details). WFIN
