- ➤ The Community Gardens of Hancock County is accepting applications for the 2026 Gardening Season at 1800 N. Blanchard St. in Findlay (sponsored by CHOPIN Hall). There is no cost to apply and more than 100 plots are available for individuals and community groups. WFIN
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Blanchard Valley Health System’s Cath Lab nursing team received a DAISY Foundation Award after a nurse nominated them following emergency cardiac care. The nomination praised their warm, caring approach and humor (a strong example of quality local health service). WFIN
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Former Findlay High School football coach Mark Ritzler received the 2026 Dr. James Houdeshell Excellence in Coaching Award on March 20 in Dayton during a UF alumni gathering (recognizing his 14-year career and multiple coaching honors). WFIN
