- ➤ The Community Foundation has scheduled free Fun For All April events including Game A Palooza at 3 p.m. on April 18 at 50 North, an opera concert at 3 p.m. on April 19 at the University, and Teen Painting and Pizza from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on April 23 (registration required). WFIN
- ➤ City Mission of Findlay is hosting its 4th Annual Brake the Cycle of Homelessness Ride on May 16 to raise awareness and build hope in our community (helping those in need). Locals are invited to join the ride and support the cause. WFIN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Findlay City Schools will host Hancock County’s Summer Lunch Program at Glenwood Middle School from June 8 to July 30, providing free lunches and fun activities for kids under 18. The program will run Monday through Thursday — with a take-home meal for Friday. WFIN
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Community partners reorganized as the Coalition for Mental Wellbeing to streamline mental health and substance use efforts in Hancock County. Formed in spring 2025 from 40 organizations and 175 individuals, the coalition now focuses on suicide prevention — adding education, treatment, and policy work to its agenda. WFIN
