EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Findlay will host its Spring Horse Sale on April 25 at Dale Wilkinson Arena south of Findlay. Demos will start at 10 a.m. with the sale at noon, offering about 40 horses trained by equine studies students — part of the proceeds will support scholarships for equestrian opportunities. WFIN
- ➤ The Hancock Historical Museum welcomed third graders for two days of hands-on learning this week and will host first and fourth graders later this month to boost local history interest. The museum is busy during spring field trip season. WFIN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Sheriff Explorers from Hancock County practiced search techniques tonight at the training facility to build teamwork and improve communication; SRT members led the exercise (a hands-on look at building room-clearing skills). WFIN
- ➤ County Road 180 will be closed for about four months as Hancock County replaces its aging bridge over Lye Creek — drivers are advised to follow the signed detour route between State Route 568 and State Route 37. The project began on March 30 and will meet current safety standards. WFIN

6:00-7:30 p.m. — Hancock County Fairgrounds — $20 for adults, children up to 12 free with paid adult — Experience the thrill of circus performances with the family.

5-8 p.m. — University of Findlay Koehler Center — Free entry — Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities focused on health and wellness this summer.

1-3:30 p.m. — University of Findlay's Mazza Museum — Registration required — Explore weather-themed art activities, games, and hands-on STEAM stations at this engaging family event.
