ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Some railroad crossings in Findlay were closed Friday morning after a CSX train was stopped following an accident involving a pedestrian at 6:54 a.m.—police said drivers must use alternate routes since crossings from East Lincoln Street north to George Street remain blocked.  WFIN

CRIME NEWS

  • Around 4 p.m. April 10, officers served a narcotic search warrant at 312 Lester Ave in Findlay where they found suspected meth, crack and drug paraphernalia and arrested Brianne Settlemire and Jeremiah Meeks while charging Shela Long with a drug paraphernalia violation.  Hometown Stations

CULTURE NEWS

  • Awakening Minds Art gave Tamera Rooney the first Sarah Crisp-Ricker Award on Thursday evening for her hard work and support; her board term ended that day and she became a lifetime board member. The organization also named new officers for the 2025–2026 term — Kyle Frias as president, Jordan Hamilton as vice president, Sarah Crisp-Ricker as secretary, and Cassi Cronin as treasurer.  WFIN

  • The Findlay City Schools Alumni Association is inviting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award — a prize for FHS graduates who have made important contributions since graduation. Nominations are open now.  WFIN

  • The U.S. 68 and State Route 15 roundabout on Findlay's south side will close Monday, April 14—about two weeks—for concrete repairs.  WFIN
