  • Welcome to a New Life in collaboration with FOCUS, the Hancock County Judicial System, and the Family Resource Center will host the 4th Annual Second Chance Event on April 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.—the event will be held at St. Mark’s The DOCK at 800 S. Main Street in Findlay where Judge Routson will serve as emcee and Heavenly Pizza will provide a complimentary lunch as attendees network and record a live podcast.  WFIN

CRIME NEWS

  • Findlay police were dispatched to Burger King on W. Trenton Ave. on April 15th at 10:48 a.m. for a report of a possible drug overdose in a parked vehicle — officers found a suspected meth pipe, additional drugs, and three firearms, one of which had been reported stolen — and arrested 36-year-old Shannon Pullom on several charges; he is now held at the Hancock County Justice Center.  WFIN

  • Indy 500 winner Sam Hornish Jr. will speak on life lessons from auto racing at the University of Findlay on May 2—doors open at 7:30 a.m. in the Winebrenner Building, TLB Auditorium—and his talk will run from 7:50 to 9 a.m.  University of Findlay

  • Enforcement Lieutenant Charles Seeley was sworn in on April 14 at the Hancock County Sheriff's Office with his family present as he took the oath to serve with integrity and accountability.
