COMMUNITY NEWS

  • City of Findlay is offering litter clean-up backpacks at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library from April 20-25, courtesy of the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership. Public Works will pick up trash only on public property and bulk drop off is available at (330 N. Cory St.) during set hours.  WFIN

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Liberty-Benton High School senior Jonas Frederick enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard at his school (supported by local community members). He will begin his studies at the University of Findlay this fall and plans to serve his state with dedication.  WFIN

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Hancock County Parkinson’s Network will hold its 3rd Annual Empower Walk and Resource Fair on Saturday, April 25 at 50 North in Findlay to raise funds for Parkinson’s education, programming, and support. Community members and businesses are invited to form teams and fundraise (registration is available online).  WFIN
