ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday at 4:00 p.m., Vanlue Firefighters responded to a heavy fire at a remodeled four-story barn on TR 173 (between Vanlue and Findlay) and, with help from Washington Twp, Arlington and Delaware Twp, quickly knocked the fire down without injuries. WFIN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Y.I.E.L.D. Program held a realistic simulation at the Hancock County Fairgrounds on Friday to educate students on the dangers of impaired and distracted driving (using actor participation and real emergency responders). WFIN
- ➤ Lauren Crutchfield, a soon-to-be University of Findlay chemistry graduate, completed an internship with the Department of War and received the SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program that will fund her graduate studies and yearly stipend—supporting her fuels research plans. University of Findlay

- ➤ The ODNR confirmed that 40 white-tailed deer out of 6,617 tested positive for CWD in Allen, Crawford, Hancock, Hardin, Marion & Wyandot counties during this hunting season. Hunters are advised to check the CWD dashboard for ongoing updates. WFIN
