- ➤ ODOT District 1 revealed winners of its annual Paint-the-Plow contest on Friday, May 22, highlighting Hardin County students' strong performance. Upper Scioto Valley High School earned both People's Choice plus ODOT's Choice awards with 1,515 votes while entries from 24 schools across the region showcased local creativity. Hometown Stations

- ➤ The Johnny Appleseed Park District received a 50-acre property donated by Dr. Herbert Beil and his wife Elfi to create Beil’s Buck Run Nature Area along the Auglaize River and Buck Run Creek. It will open early June with 1.5 miles of hiking trails, an overlook deck, and wildlife blinds. Hometown Stations
