Ottawa Metro Park in Lima now offers kayak rentals for summer visitors; the service costs $15 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour (provided by Shack’s Yaks from Alexandria, Kentucky) and is managed by Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Parks.

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation awarded $444,349.39 in grants at its May board meeting to support free community events and local projects.

The board approved 14 responsive grants (including $18,000 for seniors programming from 50 North) and 71 donor advised fund grants.
