Vietnamese leaders, including Minister H.E.
Do Duc Duy, visited Columbus on June 4 to sign MOUs with Ohio farm groups—this visit was part of a mission that started in Iowa on June 2. The agreements support a $2 billion deal to buy U.S. crops like soybeans and corn and may boost Ohio agriculture.
🏛️ Government
Farm Bureau Health Plans legislation SB 100, introduced by Sen. Susan Manchester (R-Lakeview) and approved by the Ohio House today with support from Rep. Bob Peterson (R-Sabina), will offer affordable, personalized health care options for farm families.
The bill, which passed the Ohio Senate in early April, is expected to narrow the gap in coverage for current Farm Bureau members.
