Good morning, Findlay.
The S.O.S. Project held its annual Poker Run Saturday at Schoony’s Pub in Shawnee Township—dozens of motorcyclists rode nearly 70 miles to raise funds for veterans who receive food, utility assistance, and service dog support.
The group, founded 13 years ago, will host a Fall Fest in September to raise additional funds for local veterans.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office advised Findlay residents to use caution with fireworks on July Fourth after reports showed that 11 people died and nearly 15,000 were injured in 2024.
