- ➤ On July 4th, police responded to a shooting at the Rodeway Inn at 1901 Broad Avenue where a man was struck in both legs—with initial reports hinting at a female shooter but later evidence suggesting an accidental self-inflicted discharge—and he was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital (injuries were non-life threatening) while a vehicle (believed to hold the firearm used) was seized as evidence.
