  • Flag City Honor Flight Fundraiser featuring the Reunion Band will be held on Saturday, July 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Findlay Elks Lodge 75 on West Melrose Avenue. The event features live music, a 50/50 raffle, and more to raise funds for veterans' free trips to visit Washington, D.C. war memorials (organized annually through charitable donations).  WFIN
  • City Mission of Findlay said its pantry is running low on supplies and is asking for donations of canned tuna, canned beef, and canned chicken—these items help provide nutritious meals for guests, with drop-offs accepted at City Mission.  WFIN

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Children’s Museum of Findlay is negotiating a new location in town— a space that will be welcoming, accessible, and designed for children and families to play, learn, and grow. It is also preparing a monthly newsletter, pop-up events, and member-only perk events to keep the community informed.  WFIN

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Ohio Equal Rights is proposing a constitutional amendment to stop discrimination and remove the state's same-sex marriage ban. If the Ohio Ballot Board certifies the proposal at a meeting today, supporters will need to gather 442,958 signatures to put it on the 2026 ballot—voters will then decide its fate.  NBC4
