- ➤ Findlay residents are invited by the Hancock Historical Museum to attend its Classic Movie Night series on Friday, July 18, with a screening of the 1957 drama A Face in the Crowd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.—the film starts at 7:00 p.m. with free admission, refreshments and a special introduction by John King. WFIN
- ➤ The University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum announced that Dan Chudzinski will be its new director and Amanda Davidson-Johnston will become assistant director starting August 1 — they will lead daily operations and expand community programs. WFIN
- ➤ Marathon Center for the Performing Arts will host its annual Day of Giving on August 26th—celebrating its 10th anniversary. The event will support arts education, live performances and community programs in Findlay. WFIN

- ➤ The Hancock County Veterans Service Office is hosting its 7th annual Operation Back To School to offer free school supply packages to children of veterans or those raised by veteran grandparents. Families must bring proof (DD-214 or a valid DoD, VA, or state-issued ID) and can pick up supplies at 1100 East Main Cross from July 28 to August 1, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM or at the Veterans Empowerment Summer Fair on August 2, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
