  • McDonald’s, WFIN, WKXA and 106.3 The Fox are joining with local organizations to 'Stuff The Bus' with school supplies for students at McDonald’s at 1921 Tiffin Avenue in Findlay; monetary donations are accepted as well. The event will run Thursday and Friday, July 24 and 25 from 6:00 a.m.—7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m.—noon, hosted by Christian Clearing House.  WFIN

CRIME NEWS

  • Findlay Police canceled monthly cruising events on Main St after rising reckless driving, gridlock and noise problems, and Chief James Mathias said officers used enforcement, surveillance & barricades to improve safety.  WFIN

  • University of Findlay announced that Darin Fields, PhD, will step down as Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs effective August 1 and return to teaching as a professor—Christine Denecker will serve as interim vice president. During his 12-year tenure, Fields led new program expansions and guided major accreditation reviews.  University of Findlay
