- ➤ Flag City Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. at Findlay’s Riverside Park west of McManness Avenue. The free family event lets local residents meet safety services such as police, sheriff, fire, and EMS and enjoy games, train rides, and live entertainment (rain date is August 12). WFIN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Brian Rutter and Isaac Williams were promoted to Sergeant by the Findlay Police Department — Mayor Christina Muryn swore them in on July 25th at the Municipal Building. They will join the Patrol Division. Hometown Stations

- ➤ The Findlay Family YMCA hosted a visit by Sparky from the Findlay Fire Department, where Sr. Program Director Jerry McNamee shared swimming safety tips with guests.
