- ➤ On August 5, Hancock deputies working with the METRICH Drug Task Force, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Butler County Aviation Division found 42 marijuana plots with 289 plants and one extra site with six plants over the legal limit, spoke with six property owners about securing plants from minors, and planned to destroy the extra plants without filing charges. - ➤ The Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District kept its name after a public survey—over 800 responses showed more than 60% did not support a change.
