- ➤ The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation held its 2025 Annual Celebration where it released its 2024 Annual Report—showing that it awarded 940 grants worth $5.5 million last year, has distributed $91.5 million in grants since starting, and received $23.7 million in gifts from 711 donors. - ➤ The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office thanked Ohio Logistics for becoming the Title Sponsor for the 5K Foot Pursuit + In Pursuit of Suicide Awareness, which is scheduled for September 7th. Their sponsorship will boost efforts to raise suicide prevention awareness in the community + support those in need. WFIN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Findlay students majoring in STEM — including eligible freshmen from Ohio and neighboring states — will receive scholarships starting this fall from a $500,000 fund donated in memory of Austin ‘Dutch’ Knowlton.
