  • The Findlay Police Department mourned Officer John Schimmoeller, who served our community for 29 years; his dedication and compassion left a lasting impact on his colleagues.  WFIN

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The University of Findlay will host Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025 from October 9—12, inviting alumni, friends and families to join a mix of free and ticketed events that celebrate UF traditions. Activities will range from a pop‐up event at Spirit Rock to sports games and art presentations designed to bring the community together.  University of Findlay
  • The Engineers Foundation of Ohio announced more than $34,500 in scholarships for qualifying engineering students who plan to attend accredited engineering programs in Ohio for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must meet required academic and citizenship criteria and submit applications by 5:00 p.m. on February 15.  Hometown Stations
