- ➤ Ohio Senate President Rob McColley and State Representative Ty Mathews visited WFIN Studios Friday in Findlay to discuss their work in the legislature—covering redistricting, property tax reform and condemning political violence amid talks on the Charlie Kirk killing—before speaking at the Hancock County GOP luncheon on West Front Street. - ➤ A new law in Ohio will require anyone under 21 to complete driver education—24 hours in the classroom, 8 hours with an instructor and 50 hours driving with an adult—before they can get a license. Driving instructors say the change will help reduce crashes among young drivers. WFIN
- ➤ Senate Bill 252 was introduced in Ohio to ban cat declawing except when medically necessary—violators would face fines from $1,000 to $2,500 and animal advocates warn that the procedure harms cats by cutting off part of their paw. WFIN
