- ➤ The University of Findlay’s College of Sciences is hosting a free public talk on 'What is quantum?' by Dean Lew Yan Voon on October 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Davis 102—he will explain quantum theory basics and its role in emerging technology trends as part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. - ➤ The University of Findlay will host Homecoming and Family Weekend from October 9 to 12 with a group of senior students serving on the Homecoming Court—chosen by peers, faculty, and staff. The new court will be announced at the UF-Hillsdale football game on Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m. at Donnell Stadium. University of Findlay

- ➤ The City of Findlay urges residents to use the Report a Problem page to notify crews about issues on its 197 miles of roads—potholes, sign problems, intersections, debris, sewer concerns and park needs. This online report dispatches the correct department to address the problem quickly. WFIN
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Blanchard Valley Health System now offers online scheduling at its primary care offices in Findlay, letting patients book routine, follow-up, and pediatric appointments directly on its website. The system will soon add mammography and other specialty options to improve access to care. WFIN
