COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Registration is now open for Findlay’s Night to Shine 2026 event for Honored Guests, Buddies, and Volunteers, which will be held on Friday, February 13 from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Alumni Memorial Union at the University of Findlay—this prom night experience for individuals with special needs, aged 14 and older, is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and requires a background check for Buddies and volunteers. For more details, all registration will be managed online through the event website.  WFIN

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • During November, Ohio is challenging Michigan to see which state generates the most searches for unclaimed money. Residents can search for funds by entering their name, reviewing required documents, and submitting their claim on the state website—three simple steps that could uncover money they did not know they had.  Hometown Stations

  • The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the second round pairings and the Findlay Trojans (6-4) will host Huber Heights Wayne (7-4) at Donnell Stadium on November 7. Pregame begins at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m. on WFIN.  WFIN
