- ➤ The University of Findlay’s 20th Annual Helping Hands Food Drive is underway, uniting students, staff, local schools and residents to fight hunger in Hancock County. The event holds its official collection day on November 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Student Life — volunteers will help across Findlay and food will be delivered November 6 by Garner Trucking. - ➤ The Humane Society and SPCA of Hancock County said that proceeds from pet license plate registrations support spay and neuter services for pets—locals are encouraged to purchase a pet plate when renewing their vehicle registration. WFIN
