- ➤ The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminded Findlay drivers that deer-related crashes are rising this season, with Hancock County seeing many incidents & advised motorists to scan the road ahead, use high-beam headlights when possible, and brake firmly rather than swerving if a collision seems unavoidable. - ➤ The Hancock Historical Museum invites the public to attend its Brown Bag Lecture—'WWII Heroes of Hancock County'—tomorrow at noon as Ron Ammons will speak; non-members will pay $3 while members enjoy free admission. WFIN

- ➤ In Tuesday's General Election, four candidates ran for two spots on the Findlay School Board and unofficial results show that incumbent Matt Cooper received 2,486 votes while Katie Hite earned 3,071 votes (pending certification). WFIN
- ➤ Liberty-Benton Local Schools' proposed substitute tax levy passed in Tuesday’s General Election by a margin of 67 percent for to 32 percent against, combining two emergency levies into one continuing levy starting in 2025 — all results remain unofficial until certified by the Hancock County Board of Elections. - ➤ Owens Community College brought together the University of Findlay, Heidelberg University, and Ohio Northern University on November 3—each institution signing or renewing dual admission agreements to help students transfer more easily. The agreements include new pre-pharmacy options with Findlay and Ohio Northern — a step that follows a regional study showing a growing need for flexible academic paths. WFIN
