- ➤ The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation awarded $20,000 in four grants (each $5,000) to local first responders and veterans, with funds going to the fire department, police department, sheriff’s office, and Veterans Services Office. - ➤ MCPA invites students (grades 3–5) to audition for this year’s Youtheatre production of The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr. The free workshop is on Saturday, Jan. 10 and auditions are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 19 and Tuesday, Jan. 20 before show performances on March 13 and 14. WFIN

- ➤ Findlay’s B-Shift fire team practiced victim removal scenarios with their quint apparatus at the STRICT Center. The exercise reinforced the center’s role in preparing first responders with support from local partners. WFIN

- ➤ Bridge Home Health & Hospice honored RN Christy Montgomery with the Golden Care Award from the Wood County Committee on Aging on Monday, Nov. 17, recognizing her years of dedicated care.
