- ➤ Residents on Glendale Avenue have dubbed their street Santa Claus Lane after nearly every home displays inflatable Santas, festive lights, and holiday decor beginning at South Main Street. Neighbors enjoy the cheerful drive and stroll to embrace the festive spirit. WFIN
- ➤ During a routine fire drill at Donnell Middle School on Thursday, Dec. 18, teacher Ryan Sprout heard a neighbor calling for help after she fell in her driveway in the freezing cold; school nurse Mrs. Herbert promptly contacted emergency responders to assist her. WFIN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Findlay City Schools Board of Education recognized Lora Click today for her unique role as the district's only on-bus instructor; her focused training reduced driver preparation from 6-8 weeks to just 30 days, boosting safety for student transport. WFIN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Congressman Bob Latta nominated 18 students from Ohio's Fifth District for potential admission to the U.S. Air Force, Naval, Merchant Marine and Military Academies (Class of 2030). The nomination does not guarantee acceptance and further details are available on his website. WFIN
