About this event

Rev. Wayne Hellman, OFM Conv. is an internationally known Franciscan scholar and theologian. Over the course of his career he has received countless awards, taught thousands of college students, and engaged in ground-breaking research in the Franciscan tradition.

Fr. Wayne has also served as Minister Provincial at two different times. He is currently stationed at Our Lady of Consolation Shrine and Basilica in Carey, Ohio. One of his Franciscan brothers described him this way: "Although Wayne has a great reputation as a scholar and a teacher, he is known more for his heart than his head."
