- ➤ The Hancock County Veterans Service Office is seeking sponsors, donors, and volunteers for Flag City Community Vet Fest on Saturday, June 14 on Broadway St. in downtown Findlay—this music festival will feature local bands, food trucks, and a flag lowering ceremony while raising funds for veteran programs. - ➤ At its annual meeting, Handbags That Help awarded $42,500 to four area nonprofits, with City Mission of Findlay receiving $17,000 to build a playground at Martha’s Home.
